Grok pricing FAQ: billing, terms and what changes over time
Grok's plan structure changes faster than most subscriptions. These are the pricing questions buyers ask before their first order, answered without promising numbers that xAI can change tomorrow.

Is Grok billed monthly or yearly?
xAI offers monthly billing and multi-month terms depending on region and current promotions. Longer terms lower the effective monthly cost and lock the price for the term; monthly billing stays flexible but costs more per month and renews automatically.
Why is the same plan a different price in another country?
Prices are set per market and adjusted for local taxes and app store fees. In-app purchases also include the platform's commission, so the web price and the in-app price for the same month can differ noticeably.
Does a top-up renew automatically?
No. A top-up bought here is a single payment for a fixed term. There is no stored mandate and nothing renews, so there is no cancellation step and no surprise charge.
What is refundable?
Failed top-ups, duplicate charges and orders that cannot be delivered are refunded in full on the same day. Delivered digital codes are generally not refundable, which is why the activation steps are published before checkout.
How often does this page change?
Whenever the plans or prices move materially, or when a new question starts showing up in support. The update date at the top of the page is the version you are reading.

Do you charge in USD?
Yes. All products are priced in USD and confirmed on the Stripe checkout page before payment. Your bank may apply its own conversion if your card is in another currency.
Can I get an invoice for a business purchase?
Email support@grokpricing.lol before ordering with your billing details. Bulk orders and receipts are handled by support so the right delivery channel can be prepared.
Are there cheaper grey-market accounts?
Cheap shared accounts exist and are the most common source of lost access. This storefront only sells top-ups for accounts you already own, which is why no password is ever requested.
